College Chronicle

chronicleThe Castleknock Chronicle is the college ‘annual’ and was first compiled in 1888. It is published at the end of the academic year and provides a snapshot of that year in words and pictures. Both staff and students feature within it and it is a record of the variety of academic, co-curricular and sundry activities and achievements of any given year in the college.

Over the years the Chronicle has built up into its own mini library of what it’s like to be part of the college. Alongside the College Centenary Record (est. 1935), the Chronicle offers a valuable glimpse into the past for those wishing to research particular aspects of the college’s history. For others it can simply be a nostalgic look back at their own days in St Vincent’s Castleknock College.
