Oct 20 Kantanni Karate Open Championship
On Sunday the 12th of October, Leon Flanagan and James Finnegan from 2ndyear St. Malachys took part in Kantanni Karate Open Championship in Clane.
In the Sparring competition, Leon was narrowly beaten and finished 2nd with James finishing 3rd. In the Kata competition James was the outright winner achieving 1st place with Leon finishing 2nd .
In the last year both Leon and James have had 12 top 3 finishes with 5 of them being 1st place!
