May 01 Conn Power – U19 World Irish Dance Champion

Well done to Conn Power who secured his 10th world title over the Easter holidays!

Conn was crowned the U19 World Irish Dance Champion 2014 in Kilarney!

This World Championship is an annual event that aims to recognise world-wide talent and dedication to one of Ireland’s best loved cultural heritages and past times.  With group and solo competitions open to all members of An Comhdháil from the ages of nine upwards, this contest attracts a great deal of industry attention.  In excess of 3,000 competitors take part in these Championships each year. The competition normally takes place over an eight-day period, finishing on Easter Sunday.
