The Soul Band embarked on a tour of local schools last year. They had a very busy morning, beginning with a performance in the Castleknock College foyer. From here, they managed to perform at three local primary schools: St Brigid's N.S. Castleknock, Castleknock Educate Together and Scoil Bhríde boys, Blanchardstown. They performed songs ranging from 'Rehab' to 'Moves Like Jagger' with Miss Maguire providing guest vocals for a performance of 'American Boy'! The young audiences proved to be highly responsive and joined in with clapping and singing. It was hectic morning but one which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Well done to the fantastic Soul Band!
The cast of "Little Shop of Horrors" are pictured here at their performance at Our Lady's Parish Centre where they raised 600 euro for Ethiopian charities

Study Trip to Berlin
13 students accompanied Ms. Doran and Ms. Vaughey on a 4 day excursion to the German capital. Included in our visit were such famous landmarks as the Reichstag,Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish museum, The East Side Gallery, the Berlin Bunkers, the Sachsenhausen concentration Camp in the outskirts of the city and a notable shopping trip on the capital’s mainstreet, the Ku,damm! It was a most enjoyable trip, with the boys practicing the target language at every opportunity.
